Four individuals accused of being pro-Palestine protesters have entered not guilty pleas regarding allegations of causing £1.2 million in damage during a planned incursion at a UK factory associated with Israel.
The defendants, identified as Iain Evans, 32, Hisham Alkhamesi, 23, Bea Sherman, 23, and Hana Yun Stevens, 23, are charged with breaking into the Moog Aircraft Group facility located in Pendeford, Wolverhampton, in August of the previous year.
Details of the Allegations
During a session at London’s Old Bailey, the defendants collectively pleaded not guilty to a single count of criminal damage that occurred on August 26, 2025. Reports indicate that members of a group, referred to online as Palestinian Martyrs, accessed the factory roof in the early morning hours.
The factory was reportedly targeted due to its role in supplying components for F-35 fighter jets utilized by the Israeli military. According to Staffordshire Police, the incident resulted in considerable damage to several skylights and solar panels.
Bail and Upcoming Trial
Evans, hailing from Shipley in West Yorkshire; Alkhamesi, from Hinckley in Leicestershire; Sherman, from Hassocks in West Sussex; and Stevens, from south-west London, communicated their pleas via video link from custody.
During the hearing, Mrs. Justice Cheema-Grubb considered a bail request for all four defendants. The judge approved their release under strict conditions, which include a surety of £10,000.
The defendants are scheduled to face a three-week trial before a high court judge at Birmingham Crown Court, commencing on June 8.
