Significant disruptions are currently affecting all West Coast Main Line train services between Euston station and Watford Junction due to a fire incident in north London.

Approximately 70 firefighters are engaged in combating the blaze, which ignited around 09:30 GMT at a commercial property located on Regent’s Park Road in Chalk Farm, according to the London Fire Brigade (LFB).

Travel Delays and Service Interruptions

National Rail has indicated that travelers should anticipate major delays lasting until at least 15:00. Avanti West Coast is recommending that passengers consider using their tickets with alternative train operators. Additionally, London Northwestern Railway services have been suspended from Euston.

Train services to various cities, including Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, and Glasgow, are experiencing disruptions. Passengers holding tickets for Friday are permitted to use them on Saturday without incurring any extra charges. Extent of the Fire and Its Effects

Firefighters are utilizing a 32-meter turntable ladder to manage the situation, and smoke from the fire has been visible from a mile away at the Royal Free Hospital.

  • London Overground services between Richmond/Clapham Junction and Stratford, as well as from Gospel Oak to Barking, may also face interruptions.
