A 27-year-old man from North London has been brought before a court, facing charges of murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of Finbar Sullivan on Primrose Hill on April 7.
Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, residing on Southbury Road in Enfield, confirmed his identity during a brief session at Stratford Magistrates‘ Court.
District Judge Ashwinder Gill informed Ogunyankinnu that the severity of the case necessitated its transfer from the magistrates‘ court.
Ogunyankinnu has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey on April 15.
Finbar Sullivan, aged 21, was a student at the London Screen Academy, pursuing a career in filmmaking. He was discovered with multiple stab wounds near the scenic viewpoint at this popular North London location on Tuesday.
„I have lost my only son,“ stated Chris Sullivan, 65, Finbar’s father, in an interview. „All of his friends described him as the light, the leader. His friends‘ parents adored him. This makes the tragedy even more profound,“ he added.
The incident has drawn attention to the ongoing issue of violence in London, with authorities continuing to address safety concerns in the area.
