Four individuals have been detained on suspicion of murder after a fatal stabbing incident occurred outside a nightclub in Peckham, leaving one man dead and two others in critical condition.
The victim, a 26-year-old man, was discovered by emergency services outside Laxa Lounge on Ruby Street during the early hours of Easter Monday. Despite the efforts of paramedics, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
In addition to the deceased, two other men in their 20s were transported to the hospital, where they are currently in life-threatening condition.
Authorities have arrested four suspects, comprising one 18-year-old and three men aged 24, in connection with the murder investigation.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil John of the Metropolitan Police described the event as a „deeply tragic incident outside a busy nightclub“ and urged anyone with information, including dashcam or mobile phone footage, to reach out to the police.
As the investigation continues, the community remains on edge following this violent occurrence.
