Detectives have initiated a murder investigation following the fatal stabbing of a man in Primrose Hill.
On Tuesday, April 7, at 18:41, police received reports of a disturbance at the viewpoint in Primrose Hill. Officers arrived on the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service, where they found a 21-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. Despite the efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another individual, believed to be in his 20s, was discovered by police nearby on Regent’s Park Road, also with stab wounds. He was transported to the hospital by paramedics, and his injuries are not considered life-threatening or life-altering.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with this incident, and a crime scene has been established.
Superintendent Matt Cox stated, “This is an utterly tragic incident and our thoughts remain with the man’s family and loved ones.”
Cox further reassured the local community, saying, “The investigation is unfolding at pace, and an increased police presence will remain in the area while we carry out enquiries.”
He urged anyone who was in the vicinity during the incident and may have information to come forward.
