On April 1, President Ahmad al-Sharaa held a meeting with King Charles III at Buckingham Palace in London. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between Syria and the United Kingdom to benefit both nations.

During the meeting, King Charles III conveyed his support for Syria and expressed solidarity with the Syrian people as they work towards rebuilding their nation.

Earlier that day, President al-Sharaa arrived in London for an official visit, accompanied by a ministerial delegation. His itinerary included meetings with senior British officials, representatives from British companies, and business leaders, following his recent trip to Germany.
