The Hinduja Foundation, associated with the Mumbai-based Hinduja Group, has unveiled a scholarship program for Indian-origin students aiming to enroll in the MSc in MedTech Innovation & Entrepreneurship at King’s College London in 2026. This initiative follows a substantial philanthropic contribution made by the Hinduja Foundation UK in 2024, which facilitated the establishment of the Hinduja King’s Health Partners’ Academy at the prestigious institution.
Scholarship Details and Opportunities
This collaboration encompasses the provision of full four-year PhD studentships focused on healthcare technologies at the School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences, alongside the one-year MSc program. The initiative is designed to enhance healthcare communities in both the UK and India.
As part of this partnership, training programs for nurses, observational opportunities, and online leadership courses have been made available through Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to the P.D. Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.
Current Scholars and Future Applications
As of October 2025, three PhD candidates and two MSc students have commenced their studies at King’s College London, with an additional PhD scholar joining in February 2026. Applications are currently being accepted for four PhD and five MSc scholarships for the academic year 2026-2027, which begins in October. The deadline for applications is set for May 30, 2026.
