Detectives have published images of three individuals they wish to interrogate regarding a firearms incident that took place in Enfield last June.
On the evening of Thursday, 12 June, a 32-year-old man from London was both shot and stabbed on Park Avenue at the junction with Green Lanes, resulting in severe injuries.
Authorities received a call at approximately 23:00 hours regarding a 30-year-old man who had fired a weapon at another individual seated in his vehicle, narrowly evading the shot.
Subsequently, it is reported that another man approached the car and stabbed the victim through the driver’s side door.
Approximately thirty minutes prior to the stabbing, it is believed that the individual armed with the firearm had attempted to shoot an 18-year-old man following a foot pursuit, thankfully missing him.
The stabbing victim sustained grave injuries to his back and was transported to the hospital in a critical state. Fortunately, he has since fully recovered.
Detective Constable Joe Halsey from the Metropolitan Police Specialist Crime Team stated:
„A man was brutally attacked suffering serious injuries, and he is incredibly fortunate to be alive.
My team continues to follow all possible lines of enquiry in this investigation and have already conducted extensive reviews of witness statements, as well as CCTV and forensic work which has led to us identifying multiple suspects.
