A tragic incident occurred on the M25 on Friday, April 3, resulting in the death of a 23-year-old woman from East London. The fatal crash took place at Junction 29 shortly before 8 PM, involving three vehicles and a lorry.
The woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene, and authorities have confirmed that no other individuals sustained injuries in the incident. The family of the deceased is currently receiving support from specialized officers with the Metropolitan Police.
Following the accident, the junction remained closed until 5 AM on Saturday, April 4, but has since reopened to traffic. While no arrests have been made in connection with the crash, police are actively seeking assistance from the public.
“We urge any witnesses or individuals with dashcam footage to come forward to aid in the investigation,” a police spokesperson stated.
