A teenage boy has been hospitalized following a collision involving a car and a cyclist in Poplar.
The accident occurred on Upper North Street, close to India Dock Road, shortly after 12:30 AM on March 8.
Emergency services, including officers from the Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service, responded to the scene. They discovered the boy suffering from a head injury.
He was subsequently transported to a hospital for medical attention, although his current condition remains unclear.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated, „Police were called at 12:33 AM on Sunday, 8 March to a report of a collision between a car and a cyclist on Upper North Street, Poplar. Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and found a boy, in his teens, with a head injury. He was taken to hospital; we await an update on his condition. No arrests have been made. Anyone with information should call 101 with reference 205/8MAR.“
Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has relevant information to come forward.
