The Metropolitan Police have identified the individual who succumbed to injuries sustained from a stabbing incident at Primrose Hill as 21-year-old Finbar Sullivan.
Sullivan was discovered with multiple knife wounds near the popular viewing area of the north London park following reports of a confrontation that occurred shortly after 6:30 PM BST on Tuesday.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene. A second male, also in his 20s, was located on Regent’s Park Road nearby, suffering from stab wounds. He was transported to a hospital, where his injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening.
The Metropolitan Police have urged anyone who may have information, photographs, or videos related to the incident to come forward. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the case.
Authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage, interviewing witnesses, and collecting forensic evidence as part of their investigation.
Detective Inspector Andy Griffin, who is overseeing the inquiry, stated, „Finbar’s family have suffered a devastating loss, and our thoughts are with them as they navigate this very challenging time. Our investigation is progressing at pace, and we are following several lines of inquiry. This incident occurred in a busy, public park, and there may be many witnesses who can help us piece together what happened.“
The incident has raised concerns in the community, prompting calls for increased safety measures in public spaces.
