Detectives investigating the murder of a young man in Primrose Hill have identified the victim and are seeking assistance from the public.

Finbar Sullivan, a 21-year-old, was tragically stabbed on Tuesday, April 7. His family has been notified and is receiving support from specialized officers during this difficult time.

Authorities received reports of a disturbance at the viewpoint in Primrose Hill at 18:41 hours. Upon arrival, police and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service discovered Finbar with multiple stab wounds. Despite the immediate efforts of emergency responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

In a related incident, another man, believed to be in his 20s, was found nearby on Regent’s Park Road. He was transported to the hospital with stab wounds, which have been assessed as non-life-threatening and non-life-altering.

Investigation Underway

Detectives are actively conducting a series of urgent inquiries to identify and apprehend those responsible for the attack. This includes reviewing CCTV footage, interviewing witnesses, and collecting forensic evidence.

Detective Inspector Andy Griffin, who is overseeing the investigation, stated: „Finbar’s family have suffered a devastating loss and our thoughts are with them as they navigate this very challenging time. Our investigation is progressing at pace and we are following several lines of inquiry. This incident occurred in a busy, public park and there may be many witnesses who can help us piece together what happened.“

Griffin also noted, „We are aware of footage circulating on social media around the time of the incident, and urge anyone who has any information, including photos or videos, which could support the investigation to urgently contact us.“
