Muscat: The Research and Innovation Authority (RIA) has officially announced the commencement of registration for higher education students interested in participating in the 67th edition of the London International Young Scientists Forum (LIYSF 2026). The RIA indicated that the registration period for LIYSF 2026 will remain open until May 6, 2026.

The forum is set to take place in London from July 19 to August 1, 2026. Established in 1959 as a non-profit social institution, LIYSF has empowered over 22,000 students from various countries around the globe. The forum serves as an academic platform that fosters both learning and cultural exchange, allowing young individuals to expand their knowledge and build scientific networks.

LIYSF 2026 aims to enhance the capabilities of young researchers by providing them with high-quality international experiences and facilitating direct communication with leading scientists and experts. This interaction allows participants to stay informed about the latest developments in scientific fields.

The RIA clarified that eligibility for LIYSF 2026 requires participants to be Omani nationals aged between 19 and 23 years, proficient in both spoken and written English, and have a history of involvement in previous scientific projects or competitions.
