A total of twelve fire engines and approximately 80 firefighters were dispatched to Kensington High Street following the outbreak of the fire shortly after midnight on Monday, January 26.
The London Fire Brigade reported that a section of the rooftop bar area of the nine-storey building was ablaze. The incident occurred at a commercial property located on Derry Street, just off Kensington High Street in west London, with the first emergency call logged at 12:57 AM. Visuals shared by the fire brigade on X, previously known as Twitter, depicted bright orange flames illuminating the night sky alongside thick black smoke billowing from the structure.
Fire Control Efforts and Response
