In a significant demonstration against the prohibition of Palestine Action, over 500 individuals were detained following a ruling by the high court that deemed the group’s ban unlawful.
On Saturday afternoon, a large crowd convened in Trafalgar Square, London, displaying signs that proclaimed: „I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action.“ Many participants occupied camping chairs and sat on the ground, proudly showcasing their placards.
According to the Metropolitan Police, a total of 523 arrests were made by midnight, with the ages of those detained ranging from 18 to 87.
