Borough High Street is experiencing partial closures due to an ongoing police incident that has disrupted traffic since approximately 1:30 AM. The affected area extends from Trinity Street to A3201 Great Dover Street, near Borough Station.
Details surrounding the nature of the incident remain unclear. Consequently, five London bus routes—35, 133, 343, C10, N133, and N343—are currently on diversion, as reported by traffic monitoring service Inrix. Borough High Street spans just under one mile, connecting Elephant and Castle to London Bridge, and is home to various businesses, bus stops, and residential properties.
The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service have been contacted for further information. Stay tuned for updates as the situation develops.
