A man is facing murder charges following a fatal stabbing of a 40-year-old individual in a flat located in north-west London, according to the Metropolitan Police.
Authorities responded to an emergency call at Tollgate House, Tollgate Gardens, Maida Vale at approximately 21:40 GMT on Friday evening.
The victim received medical assistance at the scene for stab injuries but subsequently passed away in the hospital. Police report that the victim’s family is receiving support from specialized officers.
Leon Douglas, aged 45, residing on Watford Way in Hendon, was taken into custody on Tuesday under suspicion of murder. He was officially charged with the crime on Wednesday. Douglas has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Willesden Magistrates‘ Court on Saturday.
