Two men have been charged with conspiracy to murder in connection with a shooting incident in Walthamstow.
At 00:17 hours on Monday, September 29, police responded to reports of gunfire on Howard Road, Walthamstow.
A 36-year-old woman received medical attention at the scene before being transported to the hospital, where her injuries were assessed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing.
Demaine Mason, 35 (born November 18, 1989), without a permanent address, was apprehended on Tuesday, October 28. He was charged the same day with conspiracy to murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. Mason appeared at Thames Magistrates‘ Court on Wednesday, October 19, where he was remanded in custody.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Kashif, 20 (born February 12, 2005), residing on Calshot Road in Birmingham, was arrested on Tuesday, November 4, and charged on Thursday, November 6, with the same offenses. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear at Thames Magistrates‘ Court.
