A tragic incident has unfolded on the London-Surrey border, where a 23-year-old man, Alfonso ‘Alfie’ Sibley, was fatally stabbed. He was discovered in an alleyway beside The Wheatsheaf pub on Kingston Road around 3:30 PM on Tuesday, December 9. Despite the prompt response of emergency services, Sibley succumbed to his injuries at the scene. His family has requested privacy during this difficult time.
A 15-year-old boy, whose identity cannot be disclosed for legal reasons, has been charged with murder in connection with this case. He was remanded in custody and faced proceedings at Guildford Magistrates Court on Monday, December 15. A subsequent court appearance at Guildford Crown Court is scheduled for tomorrow, December 22.
In addition to the primary suspect, another 15-year-old boy, a 17-year-old boy, and a 20-year-old man were apprehended on suspicion of murder but have since been released on police bail while investigations continue.
