The voices of the victims resonate strongly as justice is served in the case of Victor Komolafe, who has been sentenced for multiple sexual offences. The Metropolitan Police’s V100 program played a crucial role in identifying and apprehending this offender, highlighting the ongoing efforts to protect women and girls in London.

Sentencing Details and Offender Background

On June 1, 2026, Victor Komolafe, 35, of Harmony Close, Hertfordshire, received a sentence of 8 years and 11 months at Woolwich Crown Court. In addition to his prison term, he was issued a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for an indefinite period and will remain on the sex offenders register for life.

Komolafe was found guilty of four counts of sexual abuse on April 23, 2026, at Snaresbrook Crown Court. The charges included one count of attempted rape, one count of sexual assault, and two counts of assault by penetration. Notably, he was known to use aliases such as Ghost and Xavier.

Details of the Offences

The investigation revealed that Komolafe targeted two complainants who were unknown to each other. Detective Constable Jo Cheung and Helen Cordes, who worked on the case, noted that Komolafe exploited a facade of familiarity and friendship to manipulate his victims.

“The bravery of both victims coming forward emphasizes their strength of character, and their willingness to speak out against abusers such as Komolafe,” said Cheung and Cordes. “Their courage and determination enabled our investigation to achieve the justice they desperately deserved.”

Komolafe was arrested following a report of sexual assault on August 10, 2023. During police questioning, he claimed that the sexual activity was consensual and initiated by the complainant. However, a thorough investigation by the Metropolitan Police uncovered forensic evidence that contradicted his claims.

Further Investigations and Victim Testimonies

Following his arrest, another report of sexual abuse was made on September 25, 2023, involving a second victim who alleged that Komolafe had committed sexual offences on September 23, 2023. This victim described being deprived of food and water, a tactic used by Komolafe to incapacitate her before committing further sexual offences in a vehicle belonging to his partner.

Despite Komolafe’s denials, forensic analysis revealed semen belonging to him on the victim’s clothing, further substantiating the allegations against him.

“If you have a feeling that something happened to you against your will, go to the police. It’s worth speaking up even if you’re not sure,” one victim stated. “This might encourage people to report him and others. People like him need to be put to face justice.”

The victim encouraged others who may have been harmed by Komolafe to come forward, asserting that he can no longer inflict harm.

Impact of the V100 Program

The V100 program is designed to enhance the Metropolitan Police’s approach to safeguarding women and girls by utilizing advanced intelligence and data analysis to identify high-risk offenders. Since its inception in 2023, the program has seen 208 individuals convicted by the end of April 2026.

This initiative aims not only to respond to crimes but also to prevent them by closely monitoring and prosecuting the most dangerous offenders. The proactive measures taken by the police are intended to ensure that justice is served and that potential victims are protected from future harm.
