Authorities are seeking witnesses in connection with a tragic multi-vehicle accident that occurred on the M25.
Police received reports of a collision involving three cars and a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) at Junction 29 of the M25 at 19:52 hours on Friday, April 3. Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, were dispatched to the scene.
Regrettably, a 23-year-old woman from East London was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family has been notified and is receiving support from specialized officers.
No other injuries were reported in the incident. The junction remained closed until approximately 05:00 hours on Saturday, April 4, as investigations were conducted.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and inquiries are ongoing. Authorities encourage anyone with information or dashcam footage related to the incident to contact the police at 101, referencing CAD 6459/4APR, or to reach out to the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111.
