The family of a 16-year-old girl who died following an incident at a London Underground station has expressed their grief and paid tribute to her memory. Daisy House was fatally injured after falling onto the tracks at Loughton Underground Station around 2:30 PM on Monday, December 15, and subsequently passed away in the hospital.
In a statement released by the British Transport Police on December 20, her devastated parents described Daisy as a ‘bright’ and ‘beautiful’ daughter who had a promising future ahead of her.
The family shared a photograph of Daisy and requested privacy during this difficult time.
The tribute reads: „On Monday, our beautiful daughter Daisy lost her life. She was a bright, beautiful, clever, and funny girl who had just started Sixth Form and had her whole future ahead of her.“
The statement continued by acknowledging the efforts of emergency responders, stating: „We would like to thank all of the emergency services and doctors who worked so hard to save her, especially the British Transport Police officer and pediatric nurses who treated us all with such kindness.“
Additionally, the family expressed gratitude for the messages of support and floral tributes received from the community. They concluded with a heartfelt plea for privacy, stating: “We would now ask for our privacy to be respected while we come to terms with the loss of our Daisy and what life will be like without our daughter.”
