Police are continuing their efforts to gather information regarding a man who has been missing from Hackney for over a month.
Jason, a 56-year-old resident, was last observed departing his home on Wednesday, November 5.
Standing at 6 feet tall with a slim build, Jason was last noted to be wearing black Sketchers, black trousers, and a black hoodie.
His family has recently provided a photograph taken in January 2024 to aid in the search.
CCTV footage reveals Jason in a shop on Theydon Road, Hackney, on Wednesday, October 22. Although this footage predates his disappearance, law enforcement believes it provides a clearer representation of Jason’s appearance.
Family Appeal for Help
Jason’s sister, Amanda, expressed, “Jason, if you see this, we love and miss you. Knowing you are safe will be the best Christmas present we could ask for.”
She added, “We need to find Jason as he is vulnerable. If you see him, please contact the police.”
Official Concern
Sergeant Kevin Hook from the Central East Command Unit stated, “We remain increasingly concerned for Jason’s welfare, as he has now been missing for several weeks. Officers are working tirelessly to locate him as soon as possible.”
He further acknowledged, “I’d like to thank Jason’s family for working so closely with us during this investigation. They grow more anxious by the day to see him returned to them safe and well.”
Authorities urge anyone who may have seen Jason or possesses pertinent information regarding his whereabouts to contact the police immediately, by calling 101 and quoting reference 876/07NOV.
