Police are actively seeking assistance following a violent robbery that resulted in a man sustaining a broken shoulder in Tottenham.
Details of the Incident
Authorities have disseminated an image of an individual they wish to interview regarding the assault that transpired on Thursday, 14 August, in Haringey. Officers responded to reports at 06:00 hours at Williamson Road, Tottenham, where a 47-year-old male victim was discovered.
The victim reported an encounter with an unidentified suspect who threatened him with a knife at an automated cash machine. Following the threat, the victim was compelled to withdraw money before undergoing a brutal assault. The suspect subsequently stripped the victim of all his belongings.
Suspect Description
The suspect has been characterized as a white male, approximately 30 years old, standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with dirty blond hair. At the time of the incident, he was clad in a purple jacket, three-quarter length shorts, and dark Nike Air Max 95 trainers. He was also seen carrying a green backpack and had headphones around his neck.
DC David Medeck of the Northern Area Command Unit remarked, “We have released this image of a man we would like to speak to following this horrific robbery. Despite extensive efforts to trace him, we now need the public’s help.”
