The initial images from the Maida Vale murder scene have been released following the tragic death of a 40-year-old man. The victim was declared deceased at the location in Tollgate House, Tollgate Gardens, around 9:40 PM on Friday, December 19.
As of now, no arrests have been made, leaving the perpetrator at large. The photographs provided to MyLondon reveal forensic teams examining the scene, reportedly in the courtyard of the apartment block. Some personnel are capturing images while others meticulously search for evidence on the ground.
Investigation Underway
Detective Chief Inspector Matthew Denby, who is leading the investigation, commented: „My thoughts are with the victim’s family at this unimaginably challenging time. Our investigation is progressing rapidly as we strive to uncover all the details surrounding this incident.“ He further urged anyone who was in the vicinity of Tollgate Gardens on the night of the incident to come forward.
„Were you present in the area on Friday, December 19? Do you possess any mobile phone or dash cam recordings of individuals nearby at that time? If so, we encourage you to contact the police,“ Denby added.

He also expressed gratitude to local residents for their patience during the ongoing inquiries, as several cordons remain in effect.
