Detectives investigating the murder of 15-year-old Adam Henry in Islington have charged a second individual with the crime.
Abdel Derdour, aged 22, with no fixed address, was charged in the early hours of Sunday, December 28. He is scheduled to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, December 29. His arrest occurred on Friday, December 26.
Details of the Incident
Adam Henry’s death followed a stabbing incident on Westbourne Road, Islington, which took place at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 9. Officers from the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime unit are providing ongoing support to Adam’s family.
A number of additional arrests have been made as part of this ongoing investigation:
- Tsidi Winion, aged 20, from Handyside Street, Camden, has been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon as of Monday, December 15. He remains in custody awaiting trial, the date of which has yet to be determined.
- Daniel Williams, aged 39, residing in Shooters Hill, Camden, has been remanded in custody on charges of fraud, theft, dangerous driving, and taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent. He was apprehended alongside Derdour at a property in north-west London on Friday, December 26.
Three additional individuals—a man and a woman—who were also arrested with Derdour have been released on bail pending further inquiries. The woman faces allegations of having assaulted a police officer.
