A woman is scheduled to appear in court, facing charges linked to the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Tyrece Balcha.
Shainae Morris, aged 29, from Oppenheim Road in Blackheath, has been charged with perverting the course of justice as well as possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. Her first court appearance is set for Friday, January 16, at Croydon Magistrates‘ Court.
Details of the Incident
The police responded at 05:27 hours on Sunday, September 21, to reports of a shooting that occurred outside a bar on Atlantic Crescent in Wembley. Upon arrival, officers discovered Tyrece Balcha with gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital but tragically passed away on Thursday, September 25.
Additional Charges
Four other individuals have also been charged with murder in connection with this case:
- Ashley Wallace, 40, from Shenley Road, Southwark
- Adem Altindal, 33, from Wood Green, Haringey
- Rafael Reveane Rodriguez, 39, from Middleton Road, Morden
- Dennis Gambrah, 33, from Dressington Avenue, Lewisham
These individuals are scheduled for a hearing at the Old Bailey on Friday, March 6.
