Three individuals have been detained on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a deceased man near a canal path in West London. The body was located at an address on Horsenden Lane North, situated in the Greenford area of Ealing, on Tuesday evening (December 16).
Emergency services, including police and paramedics, responded to a report concerning welfare around 11:15 p.m. Upon arrival, they arrested two men aged 43 and 36, along with a 39-year-old woman, all of whom remain in custody.
Investigation Details
The Metropolitan Police indicated that the circumstances surrounding the man’s death are being deemed ‚unexpected,‘ and investigations are currently underway. As a post-mortem examination is still pending, no cause of death has been disclosed at this point.
A representative from the Metropolitan Police stated: „At around 23:15 on Tuesday, 16 December, police were called to reports of a concern for welfare at an address in Horsenden Lane North, Greenford. Officers, along with the London Ambulance Service, attended and sadly discovered the body of a man.“
They further confirmed, „He was pronounced dead. Two men, aged 43 and 36, and a 39-year-old woman were apprehended at the scene on suspicion of murder and continue to be held in police custody.“
The Police emphasized that the death is currently regarded as unexpected and that inquiries persist. A crime scene has been established as part of the ongoing investigation.
The London Ambulance Service has been approached for additional information.
