A man has been fatally stabbed in West London, raising concerns in the community. The victim, aged 40, was declared dead at the scene in Tollgate House, located on Tollgate Gardens in Maida Vale, around 9:40 PM on Friday, December 19.
Authorities have not made any arrests, leaving the perpetrator at large. The police are urging anyone with information or video footage that could assist in the investigation to step forward.
Police Appeal for Information
Detective Chief Inspector Matthew Denby, leading the investigation, expressed his condolences to the victim’s family during this challenging time.
He stated, “Our investigation is continuing at pace as we work to establish the full circumstances around this incident. Were you in the area or on Tollgate Gardens on Friday, December 19?”
He further requested, “Do you have any mobile phone or dash cam footage of individuals in the area around the time of the incident? If so, please come forward and speak to police.”

Denby acknowledged the support from the local community, thanking them for their patience while the police conduct their inquiries, as several cordons remain in effect.

This incident marks the second homicide in North West London within a short span of time, following the shooting death of another man in Stonebridge. The Metropolitan Police do not believe that the two cases are connected.
