In a poignant appeal, authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in the investigation surrounding the murder of Finbar Sullivan, who was fatally stabbed in Primrose Hill. A reward of £20,000 has been announced for information that could lead to the apprehension of Jordan Asije, 22, a man of interest in the case.
Detectives are urging Jordan Asije, or anyone with knowledge of his location, to come forward. An image of Asije has been released, highlighting his frequent presence in north London. The investigation has already seen three men charged with murder and another charged with grievous bodily harm, all of whom are currently in custody.
Detective Inspector Andy Griffin, who is overseeing the case, expressed his condolences to Finbar’s family, stating, “My thoughts remain with Finbar’s family following their truly devastating loss. We have made significant progress in understanding the events that led to his tragic death and our enquiries continue.” He emphasized the importance of public cooperation, noting, “As part of this work, a reward of up to £20,000 is now being offered to encourage the public to help us arrest everyone we believe was involved in the murder. No piece of information is too small and what may appear insignificant to you, could prove vital to our enquiries.”
Griffin further urged Jordan to surrender, saying, “Jordan, if you are reading this, I urge you to do the right thing and hand yourself in at the nearest police station.” He also warned that anyone aiding Jordan in evading capture could face serious legal repercussions.
While authorities do not consider Jordan a broader threat to the community, they advise against approaching him. Individuals who spot him are instructed to contact the police immediately by dialing 999. For those with information regarding his whereabouts, they can call 101 and reference CAD 6448/07APR26 or submit details through the police major incident portal.
Finbar Sullivan, aged 21, was tragically killed on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene at 18:41 hours following reports of a disturbance at the viewpoint in Primrose Hill. Upon arrival, they discovered Finbar suffering from multiple stab wounds. Despite the efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
In addition to Finbar, another man in his twenties sustained injuries during the incident, although they were not life-threatening or life-altering. The family of Finbar continues to receive support from specialized officers as they navigate this difficult time.
